Fatima is the owner of a meal preparation project in Al-Salt, known for making pastries favored by college students who live around her. Fatima’s business has helped her pay off her bills, especially the tuition fees of her kids.
Fatima has benefited from the funding of Microfund for Women several times, using them to purchase equipment and raw material for its various projects.
Despite the significant challenges Fatima faced, one of which is the number of women who own their own preparation meal business in the same area where she lives, and the opposition of parents to her business and the many financial commitments, she was able to make a positive difference in her home.
Her piece of advice to women is: “I encourage every woman to start a business from the comfort of their homes to improve her family’s living and financial status.”
