Ghazaleh

Ghazaleh works in agriculture, which she learned from her parents and grandparents. So she turned to Microfund for Women to take funding to expand the greenhouse she owns and repair a previously damaged part of it.

Ghazaleh grows cucumbers, potatoes, and tomatoes in large quantities and sells them to the central vegetable market, and through her business, she managed to pay off her debts and contribute to the household expenses.

Moreover, today, Ghazaleh looks back to the obstacles she overcame to get where she is now, and the most important of which was to convince her family of the importance of her independence when it comes to working and the difficulty of marketing for her business too. She dreams of growing her business and buy a bigger land.

She describes her experience with Microfund for Women as remarkable and encourages the women around her to approach them, saying, “You must be brave in making a legitimate business decision because, with determination and persistence, everything can be achieved.”
