Microfund for women (MFW) and CRIF Jordan, the first credit bureau licensed by the Central Bank of Jordan, have signed a Credit Inquiry Service Agreement to provide the MFW with credit reports and easy access financial services.
The importance of MFW joining the Credit Inquiry System as one of the most important companies involved in the support and financing of micro-enterprises, explicitly supporting and empowering women. All microfinance companies licensed by the Central Bank of Jordan have joined the Credit Query Service and become beneficiaries of CRIF’s services.
Amoudi also emphasized that joining all microfinance companies allows clients to show and build their credit lines within an official system licensed in Jordan. In addition, it will facilitate future credit decision-making by companies involved in microfinance.
As part of this partnership, Ms. Lamy Zwati, Deputy Director-General of Microfund for Women, stated that “Joining the Credit Inquiry Service is part of MFW’s strategy for the continuous development of its framework and the introduction of state-of-the-art methods and tools used globally as an essential pillar on which future credit decisions can be made clearly and transparently. ”
“We seek to increase the size of Microfund for Women’s activity by reaching out to different segments of customers, developing new products to suit market needs, and emphasizing that the partnership between MFW and CRIF Jordan is a long-term strategic partnership,” Zawaty added.
